Cardiff are closing in on Charlton defender Mark Hudson after reportedly having an offer for the player accepted.
There has been no indication of how much Cardiff offered for the 27-year-old but the Addicks were known to want around £700,000 for the player who was their skipper last season.
Boss Dave Jones is looking to add Hudson to his squad as soon as he can as pre-season preparations get underway and he is said to be in talks over a deal.
If Cardiff can secure Hudson's services he would be Jones' second signing of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper David Marshall from Norwich.
