Newly-promoted Cardiff City have been linked with a move for Fenerbahce defender Joseph Yobo.
Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay is keen to bring some top flight experience into his squad following their Championship triumph last term.
Yobo knows all about the Premier League having spent eight seasons with Everton between 2002 and 2010 before moving to Fenerbahce.
The 32-year-old helped the side to Super Lig success in his first season at the club but his future is now in doubt after the Turkish side signed Zenit defender Bruno Alves.
Turkish league rules only permit six foreign players on the field at any one time in domestic competitions and, with Fener over that limit, Yobo may have to leave if he wants to play first-team football next season.
Malkay is believed to be monitoring the defender's situation at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium and could step up his interest if Yobo shows a desire to leave Turkey.
