Boss prepares for Celtic clash

Cardiff boss Dave Jones has confirmed that Peter Whittingham will play tonight in the final tour match against Celtic.

The boss will again rotate his players as he wants as many as possible to get first-team football under their belts, but he will be still trying to win the game as Cardiff currently sit at the top of the table in the Algarve Cup with five points, three for their win against Guimaraes and two for goals scored.

"Peter will play against Celtic," said Jones. "He has rested his calf and had injections yesterday."
