Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker is out of England's clash with Moldova on Friday but is set to be fit to face Ukraine on Tuesday.
England manager Roy Hodgson has revealed the former Spurs man, who made the move to south Wales this summer, has been struggling with a minor ankle injury and is definitely out of the World Cup qualifier against Moldova at Wembley on Friday.
However, Hodgson says he expects the defender to have recovered in time to board the plane for Tuesday's clash in Kiev.
"Steven unfortunately turned his ankle in training," Hodgson said in a press conference. "It's not a very serious matter but it will keep him out of the game [against Moldova]. It won't keep him out of the Ukraine game.
"He's expecting to do some running [on Friday] evening after the game with the players who don't play but he won't be on the bench."
