Defender eyes Villa victory

Cardiff centre-half Ben Turner is looking for his side to keep their momentum going when they take on Aston Villa on Saturday.

Turner has been in excellent form alongside Steven Caulker at the heart of the Cardiff defence this season and the pair have been hailed for their outstanding performances.

The 25-year-old says it's important to follow last week's derby victory over Swansea with another good performance when they face Villa this weekend.

Turner told the club's website: "We're looking forward to going to Villa Park on Saturday now for another big game.

"I've got quite a lot of family and friends coming to that one as I'm from Birmingham originally, so they'll be hoping we win the game too."
