Blackpool winger Tom Ince is set to take some time to consider an £8million move to Cardiff City according to his father, Paul Ince.
The Bluebirds had an offer accepted last week for the former Liverpool man who was reported to have had a medical with the Premier League side on Tuesday.
Ince senior, currently manager of the north-west club insists that his son is yet to make a decision as to whether he would like to make the move.
Malky Mackay has made the 21-year-old a top target to help ensure the Welsh outfit can retain a place in the top tier of English football.
Paul Ince said: "Thomas knows he will play in the Premier League one day but there is no rush.
"Thomas only came back from holiday last week, so he has not had much time to think about the offer from Cardiff.
"If this move appeals to him, then we will talk about it and speak to everyone but he is comfortable at Blackpool."
