Cardiff boss Malky Mackay has said he will not be looking for a new goalkeeper this summer and David Marshall is his number one.
Marshall was outstanding during the Championship-winning campaign last season and just because the club have made the step up into the Premier League does not mean that Mackay will be looking for a new number one.
The boss believes the 28-year-old Scotland international has yet to reach his peak and he will get better as time progresses.
Mackay said: "Without a doubt David Marshall will be my Premier League goalkeeper I have no concerns about that one.
"Everyone is going to be tested that bit more next season, we are playing at a higher level after all.
"I've got a firm belief David is going to rise to that challenge.
"He's back in the Scotland squad again now and without a doubt he's a Premier League goalkeeper."
