Cardiff boss Dave Jones will be without Joe Ledley for the clash with Doncaster after he underwent his first hip operation.
The chances are that Ledley will now be absent for the rest of the campaign as he has another hip operation to endure before he is ready to play again.
Gavin Rae will have a late fitness test after picking up a hamstring injury which saw him substituted in the defeat of Bristol City and the Bluebirds are again going to be without Stephen McPhail as he regains his match fitness and Josh Magennis remains out.
