Cardiff midfielder Stephen McPhail is closing in on a return to the first team but is refusing to put a date on a comeback.
The midfielder was already suffering with a thigh injury when he was diagnosed with stage one MALT lymphoma before Christmas and has been undergoing treatment since.
He is now back training with the first team and can not wait to play again although he is not putting a date on his return.
He told Wales online: "I trained on Friday and have been joining in with the lads this week.
"But they are not doing full out training with the amount of games that are coming up.
"I've really missed the game and I feel great and almost up to full strength but I'm not putting any time on coming back or pin-pointing any particular game to make the comeback.
"The gaffer (Dave Jones) will be the judge of that with what he sees at training.
"I'm still with the physio most days and we will just have to see how it goes but it's good to be back and kicking a football again.
"I've missed it badly and things are coming together now."
