New Cardiff signing Gabor Gyepes says he wants to prove himself for the club in order to get back into the Hungary set up.
He has been capped 17 times by his country until a knee injury stopped his progress, but after joining Cardiff from Northampton for £200,000 he has now set his sights on a return to international football.
"I have aspirations to play for Hungary again but I must concentrate on gaining a starting place and performing well for Cardiff first," Gyepes told the Bluebirds' official site.
"If I can do that, then hopefully I can get back into the international set up."
City chairman Peter Ridsdale said: "We're delighted to have signed Gabor. Before he was injured at Wolves he had a bright future at this level."
