Carlisle striker Jordan Cook has revealed he had no hesitation in extending his loan spell from Sunderland by an extra month.
The 21-year-old has appeared four times for the Cumbrians since moving to Brunton Park on an initial one-month loan and will return to the Black Cats after Carlisle's home game against Bury on March 10.
He told the club's official website: "I'm really enjoying it here at the club and I had no hesitation over extending my deal.
"The first month has gone well and it's been a great experience of playing first team football week in, week out.
"There's only so much you can learn from reserve team football so getting the opportunity to play alongside experienced players like Lee Miller, Paul Thirlwell and Peter Murphy will continue to be a good experience for me.
"I went back to Sunderland on Wednesday. They've been keeping a track of my progress and are pleased with how the club has handled things."
