Liverpool and Southampton have entered the race for Celtic midfield enforcer Victor Wanyama who would cost in the region of £10m.
The Kenyan is also attracting the interest of Manchester United and Arsenal after starring for the Bhoys in their Champions League run this season, but Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has him down on his wanted list.
Whether the committee at Anfield feel the 21-year-old represents value for money remains to be seen, but there are no shortage of takers so the price will only go up as he remains under contract at Parkhead.
Asked a month ago about rumours of a move, the Kenyan said: "I love it here at Celtic so I'll be here next season.
"I still have a contract with Celtic and I'm happy at the club, so I think I'll still be here."
