Arsenal are keen to do a deal for Celtic's Victor Wanyama in the summer but will face strong competition from Manchester United.
The Kenyan international is destined to leave Parkhead but opted to stay during the January transfer window as the Hoops prepared to take on Juventus in the Champions League.
It may be a decision he regrets after Celtic were hammered 3-0 at home by Juve last night and only a miracle of the highest order will stop them from going out.
The midfielder, who is rated in the region of £8million, has refused to sign a new deal and will leave Celtic in the close season with both the Gunners and United keen to get him on board.
Boss Arsene Wenger is keen to add a holding midfielder to his ranks this summer after failing to replace Alex Song who joined Barcelona, and sees Wanyama as the ideal candidate.
