Aiden McGeady will travel to the Emirates Cup with the rest of the Celtic squad despite continuing talk that he looks set to leave.
The Republic of Ireland winger, who was the subject of an £8.3m bid by Spartak Moscow earlier this summer, is understood to be a transfer target for former Celts boss and Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill.
Speculation has been mounting that McGeady, who missed the 3-0 defeat to Braga and has not yet featured in any pre-season fixtures, will be on the move if Celtic receive an acceptable offer.
The 24-year-old is contracted to the Hoops until 2013, but any sale could allow Neil Lennon to bring in more players before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
Meanwhile, Germany goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand says Celtic are keen to sign him after former target David James opted to pen a one-year deal with Bristol City.
