Celtic are again being linked with a move for Kevin Doyle as doubts continue to surround the future of Gary Hooper.
Hoops boss Neil Lennon tried to land Republic of Ireland striker Doyle from Wolves back in January but failed to push through a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
However, reports claim Lennon could go back with another bid but will this time try and sign on a permanent basis as a replacement for Hooper, who looks certain to move on this summer.
Hooper has been linked with a move to England, with Premier League side Norwich and Championship outfit QPR believed to be keen.
Doyle meanwhile is widely expected to leave Wolves after their relegation to League One, with the Black Country outfit keen to get their big earners - many of whom are on Premier League wages - off their books as soon as possible.
