Celtic new boy Robbie Keane is refusing to give up hope on the club's title hopes, despite falling ten points behind Rangers.

Loan-star Keane's debut turned sour in midweek when they were shocked 1-0 at SPL strugglers Kilmarnock but, following on from the manager, the Republic of Ireland striker has refused to throw in the towel.

"There's no reason why we can't have a chance," he said.

"I need a few games and we need to put a run together. There's every chance because there's a long way to go.

"It was disappointing not to win at Kilmarnock. We were the better team and had a few chances but it was not to be.

"We just have to move on now and look forward to the next game."

Celtic will be looking to progress in the Scottish Cup at the weekend when they travel to Dunfermline, before they return to SPL duty against Hearts at home next Wednesday.
