Celtic have confirmed that Tony Mowbray will be their new manager, with his West Brom backroom staff joining him at Celtic Park.

The former Hibs boss has been in discussions with the Glasgow giants since the weekend after Celtic officials agreed a compensation package with West Brom, believed to be £2m, for their manager.

Mowbray, a former Celtic player, had also been keen to take Mark Venus and Peter Grant with him to Parkhead, with a deal now finalised for that to happen.

Former Hoops coach Neil Lennon will also be part of Mowbray's backroom team, with the new boss set to be officially unveiled to the media on Wednesday morning.
