Naylor has options

CelticSunderland and Aston Villa are both being linked with a swoop on Celtic for left-back Lee Naylor.

Villa lost Holland international Wilfred Bouma to a serious ankle injury at the weekend and could be without him for the rest of the year which has seen Naylor touted for a switch to Villa Park.

The Black Cats are also looking to boost their options on the left-hand side of defence after failing in their bid to re-sign former captain George McCartney from West Ham.

Celtic and Sevilla are reportedly on the trail of Marc Crosas, the Barcelona playermaker who was on loan at Lyon last season.

Crosas was part of the Barca squad which hammered Hibernian and Dundee United last week.

Defender John Kennedy has joined Norwich on loan until January after also attracting interest from Preston and Motherwell.
