Celtic reserve team coach Willie McStay has left the Bhoys to become manager of Hungarian side Ujpest FC in Budapest.

McStay had been a coach at Celtic Park for 15 years and led the reserves to an eighth successive league title last season.

But he has decided to move on and the former player admits he is looking forward to a new challenge as manager of the Hungarian side.

He said: "This is a great move for me at this stage of my career. I'm looking forward to the challenge."
