Addicks duo on their way

Charlton strikers Marcus Bent and Chris Iwelumo look set to join Cardiff and Crystal Palace respectively.

The Addicks are preparing for another season out of the Premier League and boss Alan Pardew has revealed he expects player movement out of the Valley.

Bent spent last season on loan at Wigan but was not retained, however it looks as though he will replace Robbie Fowler at Ninian Park.

Iwelumo has only been with Charlton for a year after joining from Colchester, but he is reportedly poised for a new challenge with the Eagles.

Speaking after the Addicks' 6-0 pre-season friendly win over Ebbsfleet on Saturday, Pardew admitted: "We have some players leaving this weekend. Chris (Iwelumo) is possibly leaving and so could Marcus Bent."
