Addicks snap up Pompey stopper

CharltonPortsmouth centre-half Linvoy Primus will rejoin former club Charlton on loan until the end of the season on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old is fit again after a long-term knee injury but has his path to the Pompey first team blocked by Sol Campbell, Sylvain Distin and Younes Kaboul.

Addicks boss Alan Pardew told his club's website: "We've agreed with Portsmouth that Linvoy Primus will come here.

"He'll spend the first part of the week training with Portsmouth as he's still carrying a knock but he'll be with us on Wednesday and I think he'll be a big signing.

"He's an old Charlton player, he's loved by the fans here and his experience and character will add to what we've got."
