Addicks winger is surplus to requirements

CharltonWinger is Dorian Smith is poised to revive his career with a move to a lower league club after being told he can leave Charlton.

Brighton, Leyton Orient, Peterborough and Huddersfield are all been reported to be keen on the youngster while League Two sides Darlington and Chesterfield have also been linked.

Addicks manager Alan Pardew beat off competition from a number of clubs to sign Smith from non-league side Tooting and Mitcham's in January's transfer window.

Smith was allowed to stay on loan at Tooting and Mitcham and train with Charlton during the week under the terms of the deal, but the initial contract was only until the end of last season and Pardew has now decided not to pursue his interest in the young winger any further.
