Boss denies hot property bid

CharltonCharlton boss Alan Pardew has denied reports linking the Addicks with a move for Brighton's ten-goal striker Glenn Murray.

Pardew is on the lookout for new faces and has been linked with loan signings after letting midfielder Darren Ambrose rejoin Ipswich earlier this week.

But the Charlton manager dismissed suggestions he was ready to snap up the Seagulls frontman - currently one of the hottest properties in League One.

"No, we're not going for him. He's a good player, but no," said Pardew.
