Pards desperate for win

CharltonAlan Pardew says Charlton are in desperate need of a win and admits that the Addicks are a 'team in recovery'.

Charlton have only won one game in the last eight and had to settle for another point when they drew 1-1 with Ipswich.

The Tractor Boys took the lead through Owen Garvan in the 37th minute, but Charlton hit back with a late equaliser from midfielder Nick Bailey, to leave Pardew relieved.

"Once we got the goal I did think you could see we looked a completely different side," said Pardew. "We are a team in recovery. Although we are fighting and trying to find ourselves, we could've nicked it at the end.

"I think we need a win. There's no doubt about that."
