Striker stakes Addicks claim

Chris Dickson has pushed his way into the thoughts of Charlton boss Alan Pardew with a double for the reserves on Monday night.

The striker has yet to start for the Addicks first-team this season but may have now played his way into contention with his impressive display for the second string.

The 23-year-old stole the show in the 3-0 win over Watford, while Jonjo Shelvey also impressed when setting up both Dickson's goals before bagging the third himself.
