Zheng set to go this week

Zheng Zhi is due back at Charlton this week but Alan Pardew does not expect him to stay for long as West Brom close in.

The Chinese midfielder has been away at the Olympic games but will return to the Valley this week with his future at the club shrouded in doubt ahead of the transfer window closing.

West Brom are known to be very keen and Pardew is not confident he will be able to keep hold.

"Zheng is due back this week and I have to say that his future is in doubt with us because it looks as though he will have to be sold." Pardew revealed.

"We'll wait and see."
