West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has admitted he could be interested in re-signing former Hammer Yossi Benayoun from Chelsea in the summer.
The midfielder, who was at Upton Park between 2005 to 2007 before rejoining them on loan earlier this term, is likely to be allowed to leave the Blues on a free transfer at the end of the season.
That has alerted Allardyce, who admits the experienced Israeli would be an interesting addition to his squad in the summer.
The West Ham boss said: "There are lots of names on our list from our head of recruitment and there will be lots of people chasing those players who are not going to cost anything transfer-fee wise.
"He (Benayoun) will be on our list probably, but we will wait and see when the time comes around."
The 32-year-old originally joined the Hammers for £2.5million from Racing Santander in 2005 before leaving for Liverpool in 2007.
He moved to Chelsea in 2010 but has struggled to play regularly and spent last season on loan at Arsenal.
