Barcelona have not given up hope of signing Chelsea defender David Luiz and could make another bid in January.
The Catalan giants were chasing Luiz throughout the summer but Chelsea refused to sell, while the 26-year-old Brazil international says he turned them down in favour of staying at Stamford Bridge.
However, Barca are not ready to give up just yet with the president of the La Liga champions, Sandro Rosell, revealing a new offer could be on the table when the transfer window re-opens.
"Barcelona should not pay more than what the coach thinks is the right price for the salary, we did not recruit David Luiz because of a technical decision," he said.
"But we will see what happens in January."
