Blues blast Eto'o rumours

Chelsea have blasted claims by Samuel Eto'o that they have made a move for the Barcelona striker.

Eto'o has been told he is free to leave the Nou Camp this summer and has been quoted as saying that Chelsea along with Tottenham and Inter Milan had made bids.

However, Chelsea say that is not the case and insist that no offer has gone in for the the 27-year-old.

A club spokesman for Chelsea dismissed the rumours when admitting: "We deny making a bid or any offer for Eto'o."
