Chelsea are hoping to hijack a move for Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony and are ready to pay £12million for his services.
West Ham have been leading the race for the player's signature but Chelsea have entered the running and hope to lure him to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Bony has been in fine form this season, firing home 26 goals in 24 games for Vitesse Arnhem, and it comes as no surprise that Chelsea are keen to do a deal.
Reports claim that Chelsea are ready to offer the player a four-year deal worth £80,000 a week which should be enough to tempt him to west London.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich also has good connections with the Vitesse board and reports claim that could also swing the deal in Chelsea's favour.
