Blues warned off Samba swoop

Real Madrid have told Chelsea to forget about signing Robinho as the Brazilian star is not for sale this summer.

The Blues have been showing a keen interest in the Brazilian, who has been linked with a move away from the club as Real continue the chase for Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari would like to link up with Robinho once again but Real have insisted that even if they sign Ronaldo, Robinho is not for sale.

"Madrid don't need to raise funds to buy," Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon told AS. "To sign Cristiano we don't need to sell anyone and even less so Robinho.

"It's not like that at all."
