Chelsea boosted by trio return

Chelsea have been boosted by the news David Luiz, Didier Drogba and Branislav Ivanovic are all fit to face Benfica.

Roberto Di Matteo has been sweating over the fitness of several key players ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg but it looks as though the trio have recovered from ankle, toe and hamstring injuries respectively.

Whether all three start remains to be seen but Di Matteo will be delighted to have options as Chelsea look to build on their 1-0 first-leg lead and book a place in the semi-finals.

Di Matteo revealed that there were one or two other niggles following the victory over Aston Villa at the weekend but he would appear to have a clean bill of health going into the game.

Barcelona await the winners of tonight's game but Di Matteo is taking nothing for granted and believes Chelsea are in for a tough game this evening.

"It is a danger. This is half-time and we're leading 1-0. But a 1-0 lead is basically nothing," he revealed. "Our players are aware of this, and we'll have to go into this game with the right attitude, the same attitude as against Napoli.

"Nothing has been done yet. We're aware of that. We need to go and qualify for the next round."
