Schalke forward Julian Draxler has reportedly rejected an approach from Premier League side Chelsea.
Chelsea are believed to see Draxler as a potential replacement for Juan Mata, who could be set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer following the arrival of Jose Mourinho as manager.
However, Draxler is keen to remain at Schalke for the 2013-14 campaign in a bid to secure a place in the Germany squad for the World Cup in Brazil next summer.
It has now been reported that the 19-year-old, who is under contract until 2018, has rejected an informal enquiry from the London club and is keen to remain at the Veltins Arena.
