Chelsea are reported to be keeping tabs on Michael Laudrup but the Swansea boss looks set to pen a new deal at the Liberty Stadium.
Laudrup has been a revelation since taking over at Swansea in the summer and after guiding the club to the Capital One Cup Final it comes as no surprise to see other clubs showing an interest.
Chelsea will be on the look out for a new boss in the summer as Rafa Benitez is unlikely to be offered a long-term deal and Laudrup could be on the list of targets.
However Swansea are keen to get the Dane tied down to a new deal and news of Chelsea's interest will no doubt speed up the process with talks set to take place this week.
Laudrup has insisted his future is with Swansea but he could have his head turned if Chelsea do make an approach.
"I have said more than once that my intention is to stay," he revealed. "I have a contract and it's a very interesting team we are building and again we will try to build on in the summer.
"Now we have to stay in the present and the present is the league and to win the cup final. Then we can look at next season and see with new players coming in, the possibility of playing in Europe, it will be a very exciting season but first we have to finish this one."
