Chelsea set to face Roma

ChelseaChelsea have been drawn in Group A alongside Italian side Roma and French club Bordeaux.

The Blues will also have to travel to Romania to take on their club champions CFR Cluj, who six years ago were playing in the third tier of Romanian football.

Chelsea managed to pick up three awards at the draw with Petr Cech beating off competition from Arsenal's Manuel Almunia, Liverpool's Pepe Reaina and Manchester United's Edwin Van der Sar to claim European club goalkeeper of the year.

That was followed up by John Terry claiming European club defender of the year as he beat off the likes of Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic as well as Liverpool's Jamie Carragher to claim the prize.

Finally Frank Lampard won European midfielder of the year as he fended off competition from Manchester United's Paul Scholes, team mates Michael Essien, Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.
