Chelsea have completed the signing of Chilean starlet Cristian Cuevas, who has penned a five-year deal at the club.
The highly-rated 18-year-old can play anywhere down the left and will be hoping to push for a place in the first-team squad sooner rather than later after completing the move.
Cuevas arrives from Chilean club O'Higgins, where he came through the youth ranks before making a handful of appearances in the senior side last season.
The youngster impressed during a trial at Stamford Bridge last November and also caught the eye during this summer's Fifa Under-20 World Cup, playing in four of their five matches.
Chelsea are well blessed down the left with Ashley Cole and Ryan Bertrand but Cuevas is one for the future and could have a bright career with the Blues.
