Chelsea are keen on Andre Schurrle but are yet to make an offer for the forward according to Bayer Leverkusen.
Reports earlier this week suggested the Blues had made a concrete offer with a view to a summer transfer, but German side Leverkusen insist that as yet no bid has been received despite talks with Chelsea.
"I can confirm the talks in London," said Leverkusen's director of communications Meinolf Sprink.
"However, at this moment there is nothing on which to make a decision."
It has also been speculated that Chelsea will offer Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who is currently on loan at Werder Bremen, in a player-plus-cash deal for forward Schurrle.
