Chelsea's Dutch deal ruled out

Last Updated: Mon, 21 Oct 2013 07:10

Chelsea have been told to forget about making a move for Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder as the Dutchman is not for sale.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is still in contact with the player and there have been suggestions he could try and sign him in January after failing with bids during the summer.

Mourinho worked with Sneijder at Inter Milan and would like to be reunited with him, but Gala president Unal Aysal says that is not going to happen as new boss Roberto Mancini wants to keep everyone on board for now.

"We have no desire to sell Wesley Sneijder," he revealed. "Roberto Mancini has not yet had the time to assess his team and has therefore asked us not to sell any players at this time."
