Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is keen to join the Bundesliga club.
The Blues starlet is a wanted man following some impressive performances for Werder Bremen last season and Bayer Leverkusen tried to include him in the deal that brought Andre Schurrle to Stamford Bridge.
Leverkusen and Werder Bremen are still thought to be keen on doing a deal but Zorc says Dortmund would be the player's preferred destination if he was to leave Chelsea.
"We are interested in the signature of Kevin De Bruyne. We are not at the helm in this respect, of course," Zorc said. "I am however able to confirm the player is wanting to make a transfer to our club."
However any move at this stage looks unlikely as Jose Mourinho has hinted the 21-year-old could figure firmly in his plans for the forthcoming season.
