Michael Mancienne has dropped a big hint he wants to join Wolves permanently following his two-year loan stint at Molineux.

The England Under-21 international has grown frustrated at his lack of first-team action at Chelsea and seems destined to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis at some point over the summer.

The 22-year-old says he has relished his time under Mick McCarthy at Wolves and is now keen on a permanent switch.

He told the Daily Express: "I've been at Chelsea since I was a kid and I'd love to break into the first-team, but it's hard for young players knowing the quality they've got.

"I've had two seasons on loan at Wolves and had regular games and really enjoyed it. Now I want to be settled at one club."
