Di Matteo to ring the changes

Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has revealed he is likely to make changes for the crucial Premier League clash at Arsenal on Saturday.

The Blues are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table and are desperate for the points to ensure a top-four finish and Champions League qualification next season.

However, Wednesday night's shock 1-0 win over Barcelona has given Chelsea a slender advantage in the Champions League semi-finals with the crucial return leg taking place at the Nou Camp next Tuesday.

Punters looking to use their free bet will have noted that the west Londoners have also enjoyed a tremendous 5-1 rout of Spurs in the FA Cup semi-finals of late, but Di Matteo is aware that he needs to rotate his squad.

"We will have to assess the players but there is a good chance some fresh ones will come in," said Di Matteo.

"Also, they deserve to be in the team as well.

"I left a few players out against Barcelona because I have to make decisions.

"We will see about Saturday but I have it in mind to give one or two a start."

A win for Chelsea at the Emirates on Saturday would at least temporarily see the Blues climb up to fourth in the table with Newcastle and Spurs both playing later in the day.
