Drogba future decision imminent

ChelseaChelsea frontman Didier Drogba has revealed that an announcement over his future will be made over the next seven days.

Barcelona and AC Milan have both been strongly linked with a move for the Ivory Coast international, and the rumour-mill has gone into overdrive when Drogba did not travel with the rest of the squad for the pre-season tour of Asia and Russia.

However, the former Marseille striker insists that an injury has caused him to miss the trip, and he is set to meet with his representatives this week to sort out his future once and for all.

"This next week will be key in terms of my future," Drogba told the Sunday Mirror.

"And I am currently injured. People who say I am not don't know me at all because I always want to play.

"As for my future at Chelsea, well I have a contract with the club that is clear.

"But my agents will have a meeting in London and then it will be known once and for all."
