PSG have rejected an approach from Real Madrid for Carlo Ancelotti, increasing the prospect of a Chelsea return for Jose Mourinho.
There has been growing talk that Mourinho will return to the Premier League this summer, with Stamford Bridge looking his most likely destination as Rafa Benitez prepares to move on.
Although the Real chief is yet to make a firm announcement as to his future, this latest revelation has strengthened the prospect of Mourinho returning to west London.
Paris St Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi claims he has rejected an approach for their coach Ancelotti from the Spanish giants, revealing this move just a day after PSG sealed the French title.
Speaking to L'Equipe, Al-Khelaifi said: "If Carlo Ancelotti left Paris, it would be a problem.
"We respect all clubs, we expect the same in return. Today we do not have the same stature as Real Madrid, but we do deserve the same respect."
