Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has told Chelsea he is in no rush to leave Goodison Park following rumours of a move.
Chelsea are known to be keen on the Belgium international and reports have claimed that a £30million bid could be on the cards when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Everton are keen to keep hold but would struggle to turn down that kind of fee if the rumours turned out to be true. Fellaini himself has spoken of his desire to move to a club challenging for honours but now says he is happy to bide his time and wait for the right move.
"There is interest in me," he revealed. "But Everton are an ambitious club as well. I don't think they'll let their best players go just like that. I want to play for one of the biggest clubs one day. But I am patient."
Fellaini has a contract until 2016 and Everton will be able to demand big money should they decide to cash in and their resolve could well be tested in the new year.
