Real president Ramon Calderon and coach Bernd Schuster are united after insisting Robinho is going nowhere but the forward seems determined to move to the Premier League.
Schuster said: "I want him to stay. I've always said so and I stand by what I say. He is important for us."
Schuster left Robinho on the bench for the Supercopa second-leg clash with Valencia after hinting he was not mentally right.
He added: "You need to know in what condition a player will arrive and there's been a lot of pressure on him and he isn't in the optimum condition to play. He's got too many concerns going on in his head.
"We realised this during the Spanish Supercopa. We wanted to win the title, so we decided it was better to use players who at that time were more focused.
"Until the matter is resolved definitely he will not be in perfect condition to play."
