Lampard has been out of the country on his summer break and only returned last Thursday and it is now thought he will hold talks with officials at Stamford Bridge over the next few days, but Mourinho believes he has got his man.
Inter president Massimo Moratti yesterday said that the club were looking for one attacking midfielder and two wingers.
"Mourinho is not a demanding coach," Moratti said. "He's not interested in making useless interventions, but just a few targeted changes."
