Chelsea are facing a losing battle to land Isco this month after Malaga insisted their star man is not for sale.
Chelsea, along with Manchester United and City, have been heavily linked with a move for the player but reports in Spain say Malaga will not sell at any price during the winter window.
The La Liga outfit's financial problems have been well documented and reports have claimed they could be forced to cash in on their star players to raise much-needed funds.
That was the case when Arsenal snapped up Santi Cazorla in the summer, but Malaga are still in the Champions League and are refusing to cash in at this time.
It means Chelsea will have to wait until the summer before making a move for the 20-year-old, while City and United will also be keeping a close eye on the situation.
