Jose Mourinho, who has been linked with a return to Chelsea, has denied reports that he is to leave Real Madrid and join Man City.
Reports in the Spanish media on Thursday linked the Real Madrid boss to the Etihad Stadium suggesting he will move to City in the summer but the former Chelsea manager has since rebuffed the claims.
He said: "I deny that I or anyone on my behalf has reached an agreement with City.
"I have a contract and do not have to answer questions that have no foundation."
The Portuguese chief, who has stated he wishes his next managerial job to be in England, is under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2014 but speculation continues to surround his future in the capital following rumours of a fall out with the players.
He has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge in the summer as Roman Abramovic searches for a new manager, although current caretaker Roberto Di Matteo is keen to keep the role himself and if they continue to progress in the Champions League he may have a chance.
