Kakuta keen for Blues exit

Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta says he is in no rush to return to the club after spending this season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem.

Kakuta has blasted the Blues by claiming there are too many players in the squad to realistically force his way in the first team.

The 21-year-old, who has previously enjoyed temporary spells with Fulham, Bolton and Dijon, moved to Stamford Bridge in 2007 from Lens when he was viewed as a rising star with great potential.

However, Kakuta has been given little chance to shine at Stamford Bridge and for that reason the Frenchman is now ready to secure a permanent move elsewhere in the summer, with Vitesse at the forefront of his mind.

He said in The Sun: "I don't dream about Chelsea anymore - I used to, now I know better.

"I hope I can join a club like Vitesse next season, where I can play every week.

"Chelsea have far too many players. At my age I need to play regularly but if I go back I'll just get 10 minutes a month and I don't want that."
