Lampard developments

The word coming out of Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening is that Chelsea will make Frank Lampard an offer he can't refuse to stay.

Despite Inter Milan being desperate to sign the England midfielder, the Blues say he will not be leaving and that if Lampard rejects a new offer, they will hold him to the last 12 months of his existing deal.

The club do not want the player, who has spent seven seasons at Stamford Bridge, to move to any other rival club, particularly one managed by former boss Jose Mourinho.
